Actress Pooja Bhatt joins Rahul Gandhi in Hyderabad in Bharat Jodo Yatra

On Wednesday, actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt joined Rahul Gandhi on the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Hyderabad. Bhatt, the first well-known Bollywood celebrity to join the Yatra, was spotted walking alongside Rahul Gandhi.

For the second day in a row, the foot march continued in Hyderabad. A number of recommendations had been issued by the city traffic police in advance of the yatra.

Pooja Bhatt made her acting debut in 1989 with the film "Daddy."

The daughter of veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, the actor delivered critically acclaimed performances in films such as "Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin," "Sadak," "Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee," "Sir," and "Zakhm," before venturing into production and direction with "Tammana," "Sur," "Paap," and "Holiday."

To an appreciation tweet, Pooja Bhatt said, " Ahhhh! Thank you Anna! The truth is I walked for β€˜me’… for the India that surges through my blood & my veins. Either ALL of us make it or NONE of us do. Unification is the only way forward. Love is the only response to hate".
