Kangana Ranaut expresses desire to contest elections from Himachal Pradesh

Finally, Kangana Ranaut has admitted that she is prepared to become a politician. The National Award-winning actress is eager to run for office and serve the people of her home state of Himachal Pradesh.

The actress recently attended Aaj Tak's Panchayat media conclave. As the Legislative Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh are expected to take place in November 2022, the Queen star has stated that she is ready to run if the BJP gives her the election ticket.

She was asked about making her political debut during the event, and she stated, "Jis tarah ke halaat honge, sarkar chahegi ki meri bhagedhari ho, tayaar hoon sabhi prakar ki bhagedhari ke liye. (If the government requires my contributions to the state, I am willing to help in any way.)" Kangana went on to say, "Jaisa mein kaha, yeh aacha hoga yadi Himachal Pradesh ke log mujhe sewa karne ka mauka de. Toh nischint roop se, yeh saubhagya ki baat hogi (As I previously stated, I would consider myself fortunate if I could serve the people of Himachal Pradesh.)"

Kangana's first solo directorial effort is Emergency. In addition to Kangana, the film stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade. The film's official release date is yet to be announced.
