Rahul Gandhi charges up the Bharat Jodo Yatra as he sprints with school children

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is leading the pan-India Bharat Jodo Yatra, surprised those accompanying him in the foot march on Sunday by suddenly starting to sprint alongside some schoolchildren.

Gandhi's security personnel, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Revanth Reddy, and others, caught off guard by his sudden run, began scooting from their brisk walk.

The video of the incident was shared on the Congress Party's social media accounts.

Rahul Gandhi resumed his foot march this morning, joined by party leaders and cadre, and is expected to cover a distance of 22 kilometers, according to Congress sources, according to news agency PTI. The fifth day of the party's campaign in the state has arrived.


Before calling it a day, the Gandhi scion will address a Corner Meeting at Shadnagar's Solipur junction in the evening. The Congress Party's Bharat Jodo Yatra traveled over 20 kilometers on Saturday before stopping for the night at Jadcherla X Road Junction. The yatra will travel 375 kilometers through Telangana, visiting 19 Assembly and 7 Parliamentary constituencies before entering Maharashtra on November 7.
