After taking the box-office by storm with the retelling of genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in ‘The Kashmir Files’, filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has announced the title of his upcoming film The Vaccine War. As the name suggests, the film is expected to revolve around the Covid-19 pandemic phase and how India fought a war of vaccine, won it without even knowing about it.

The filmmaker has reportedly scheduled the film's global release for August 15, 2023. Vivek Agnihotri believes in making films for audiences who are at the heart of our country, as well as for the rest of the world to see what our country has truly accomplished. As a result, the film will be released in over ten different languages, including Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Bengali.

After much speculation, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has finally revealed the title of his upcoming film, 'The Vaccine War.' While he also released the film's title poster, it says a lot about the theme of the film, indicating that it will open certain chapters about Indian bio-scientists and indigenous vaccines. The poster also includes the film's release date, which is set for Independence Day 2023.

Furthermore, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri stated, "When The Kashmir Files was postponed during COVID lockdown, I started researching on it." Then we began working with ICMR and NIV scientists to develop our own vaccine. Their story of struggle and sacrifice was inspiring, and while researching, we learned how these scientists fought a war waged against India not only by foreign agencies, but also by our own people. Nonetheless, we defeated superpowers by developing the quickest, cheapest, and safest vaccine. I felt this story needed to be told so that every Indian could be proud of their country." "This will be India's first pure science film about a bio-war we had no idea about," he added.
