India is facing a tough time as the second wave of Corona has hit the country really hard. The cases are increasing day by day and the country is facing an acute shortage of resources to fight the pandemic. Amidst these tough times, Director Hansal Mehta writes a note thanking our frontline workers, our doctors, and hospitals for their efforts.
Sharing a photo of various medicines being used to fight this deadly pandemic, he wrote, "Shooting in the dark. Not much is known. Not much is understood. The data is sketchy. Yet as we struggle our doctors, hospitals and frontline workers do their best to look after us, to keep us safe, to help us recover, Anything that gives us a shot beyond this apocalyptic time they are willing to try. Anything. Wish the rest of the system supported their intent and effort."
Two days back, the director had asked for help on Twitter. His son Pallava was found covid positive and he asked people for help in seeking Remdesvir, a drug used for Covid-19 treatment. In a very short span, many people came forward to help him and he could get the medicine for his son.
While the country's health care system is crumbling amidst the surge in cases, many Bollywood celebrities are coming forward to help in whatever way they can. Stars are sharing authentic details on their social media where people can get actual help in a crisis. They are encouraging their fans to stay home and stay safe.
