John Abraham Starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 Postponed

Satyamev Jayate 2 is helmed by Milap Zaveri who directed the first part as well.
 

The makers of John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer Satyameva Jayate 2, issues a statement confirming that the movie has been postponed due to the second wave of COVID-19 in India.
The official handle of Emmay Entertainment issued an official statement, they captioned it, “Announcement. #SatyamevaJayate2 @TheJohnAbraham @iamDivyaKhosla #MilapZaveri @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @nikkhiladvani #BhushanKumar #KrishanKumar @gautamikapoor1 @Shaadrandhawa @Sahilwalavaid @soniiannup #EmmayEntertainment @TSeries @AAFilmsIndia”
It read, “In these unprecedented times, nothing matters more than the safety and health of our countrymen and patrons. Our film Satyameva Jayate 2, will now release at a later date. Till then let’s keep our masks on and do our best to keep our loved ones and ourselves out of harm’s way. Jai Hind...Team SMJ2”
The film was scheduled to release on 13 May along with Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai on Eid (13 May).
Satyamev Jayate 2 is helmed by Milap Zaveri who directed the first part as well. It has been extensively shot in Mumbai and Rae Bareli.
The film has now joined the long list of films that have been postponed due to the surge in COVID cases. Earlier movies like Chehre, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Haathi Mere Saathi, D Company, Pousada, and more have also deferred release.
