The verdict by the Judge Raghavendra Kachwal stated " The PIL has no strong grounds". The actor Salman Khan was present in the hearing through video conferencing.
The Jodhpur court dismissed the plea against him which was filed by the Rajasthan Government alleging that the actor presented a false affidavit to the Arms Act in the blackbuck poaching case. The filed petition stated that the actor had informed his arms license to be lost. However , the investigation revealed that the actor had submitted it for renewal in Mumbai's Bandra. On the other hand , the PIL (Public Interest Litigation) earlier stated that Khan had submitted an affidavit citing the reason for not appearing in the court which was pain in his ear but , he was found shooting for his film project. However , the court trial quashed both the petitions.
The Lawyer representing the Government declared that " We have not received the copy of the Judgement yet . After receiving it , we will think to take the matter to the High Court".
