Tata launches two new XMS and AXMS variants of Safari, Check price and specifications
Tata Motors has introduced two new versions of its premium SUV, the Tata Safari. The first of the two new variations launched by the corporation is XMS, and the second is XMAS.
Tata Motors has redesigned many of its vehicles this year, ranging from hatchbacks to sedans and electric vehicles. Tata Harrier, the company's SUV, has lately received a new variation.
Price
The brand has kept the prices of these two variants separate, with the Tata Safari XMS variation costing Rs 17.96 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Tata Safari AXMS variant costing Rs 19.26 lakh (ex-showroom). Both of these varieties have an initial price, which the corporation may increase in the future.
Tata Motors has introduced both of these variations above the previous XM and XT variants, which are priced Rs 1 lakh higher than the existing SUV for both of these new variants.
Engine
Concerning the engine and transmission, the manufacturer has installed the current engine in this SUV without making any changes to it. The engine used in it is a 2.0 litre Cryotec diesel engine. This engine produces 168 horsepower and 350 Newton-meters of torque. This engine comes with a 6-speed automated transmission.
Features
Tata Motors has added new features to both of these variants, including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, panoramic sunroof, steering mounted controls, reverse camera, rain sensing wipers, multi-height adjustable driver seat, auto headlights, and three driving modes Eco, City, and Sport.
