It's one year that the tragic incident took place when the Bollywood and Hollywood actor passed away on 29 April.The whole film industry and the nation expressed its grief and offered condolences to his family.
Recently, The Filmfare had honoured Babil Khan, on behalf of his father, to pay a tribute to the legendary actor posthumously. He even wore his father's old clothes to accept the two awards. In his acceptance speech; in a tearful tone, Babil shared," I just...I really really really am so great full, that you all accepted me with open arms. That, you all gave me so much warmth and so much love. And all I wanna say is that, you and I will make this journey together. We will take the Indian cinema to a newer heights. I promise you that. "

Babil, in an interview, also revealed about his desire to write a book on his father. When asked to about one cinematic experience of his father, he replied," Preparing to write a book on 'IRRFANISM' . I will reveal everything in that. So I wanna wait for that"
