VIKAS KHANNA SENDS 650+ OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS TO INDIA, ALONG WITH VENTILATORS AND FIRE PROOF PPE KITS.

The Celebrity Chef, Vikas Khanna, who is also a writer and a film-maker turns a humanitarian too.
The Indian Chef, sends some covid relief in the form of oxygen concentrators, PPE kits and ventilators for India, all the way from New York City.


The restaurateur turned filmmaker runs an aid by the name of 'VIBHA' which is a non-profit organization, working for the future of children, which was a part of this recent contribution, making headlines in 'The New York Times'.


The prominent chef filmmaker, who last year distributed millions of meals across the country, did his part during the second wave too.


The Michelin-star chef had previously shared a video showing that 50 oxygen concentrators which were on the way to India. He had promised to send about ten thousand oxygen concentrators and fifty thousand fire resistant PPE kits to India, for which he and his team is working with all possible efforts.


Vikas said, “It is absolutely heartbreaking to see what is unfolding in our motherland.
The next few weeks are going to be very emotional and tough. It's also going to be traumatic for all of us who are far away. We can't be safe until all of us are safe. We all have to be very strong.”


He added, “I'm not going to be still till this is achieved. Everything else can wait, but we cannot have any delay in saving lives.”


Vikas khanna, who joined hands with India's National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) last year, initiated a food drive providing millions of meals and other essentials across the nation. He said that the food drive will restart from the following weeks, targeting of feeding about 8 million meals.
The celebrity chef, previously made headlines for his film, THE LAST COLOR, which was eligible for the Oscar 2020.
