First poster out for 'India Lockdown' By Madhur Bhandarkar: Cast Revealed on Twitter
Madhur Bhandarkar's next, India Lockdown, stars Prateik Babbar, Aahana Kumra, Shweta Basu Prasad, among others. The first-look poster of the same was unveiled yesterday.
The star cast has been revealed by National Award-winning film director Madhur Bhandarkar and the first-look poster of his upcoming motion picture, India Lockdown, has been released.
The film is said to be influenced by the actual events of the world's predominant Covid-19 crisis, which contributed to the country's lockdown. Amongst others, India Lockdown stars Prateik Babbar, Aahana Kumra, Sai Tamhankar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Prakash Belawadi, Zarin Shihab, and Ayeesha Aimen.
Bhandarkar said, sharing the news of his upcoming Twitter function, "Film India Lockdown is all set to go on floor next week. Here's a teaser poster. Give your love (sic)."
Madhur Bhandarkar has the potential to create hard-hitting scripts based on events in real life. The coronavirus pandemic that threw the Indian economy at an utter standstill and led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people across the globe seems to have moved Bhandarkar of late.
Madhur Bhandarkar is a knowledgeable filmmaker who made his directorial debut in 1999 with Trishakti. The historical thriller, Indu Sarkar, based on the declaration of a state of emergency across the country by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, was his last conventional title to hit cinemas.
