Rolls Royce introduces its first electric car the Spectre, Check details

The Spectre is Rolls-first Royce's electric vehicle. The Rolls-Royce Spectre is scheduled to go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2023. The electric vehicle will sit between the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Phantom. The Spectre electric vehicle is built on the all-aluminum architecture of Rolls-Royce and employs the new Spirit software architecture with full Whispers integration. The Spectre is the world's first ultra-luxury electric super coupe and the Phantom coupe's successor, according to Rolls-Royce. The company has already stated that by the end of 2030, its entire product portfolio will be fully electric.

Range, Power, and Acceleration

Rolls-Royce is still working on the Spectre's final range, power, and acceleration figures. By the second quarter of 2023, all figures will be finalised.

Spectre is expected to have a WLTP range of 520 kilometres based on preliminary data. The motor has a maximum power output of 577hp and a peak torque of 900Nm. The electric vehicle is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 4.5 seconds. The figures may change before the product is released to the public.

Rolls-Royce Spectre Features

The Rolls-Royce Spectre features split headlights and the widest grille ever seen on a Rolls-Royce (Pantheon grille). The grille contributes to the electric car's unprecedented drag coefficient of 0.25cd, making the Spectre Rolls-most Royce's aerodynamic car ever. With 22 LEDs, the grille is softly illuminated. The tail lamps are set into the largest single-body panel ever produced for a Rolls-Royce, which extends from the A-pillar to the luggage compartment and follows the roofline back. To maintain neutrality, the jewel-like vertical tail lamps are colourless. Spectre is also the first production two-door coupe to feature 23-inch wheels in nearly a century.

According to the company, the interior of the Rolls-Royce Spectre is outfitted with the most technologically advanced bespoke features yet.

For the very first time on a series production Rolls-Royce, the Spectre features starlight doors with 4,796 softly illuminated'stars.' The illuminated fascia of Spectre continues the ethereal night-time theme. Spectre is outfitted with a completely redesigned digital luxury architecture known as Spirit. Spirit will not only manage the functions of the vehicle, but it will also be seamlessly integrated into the marque's Whispers application, allowing clients to interact with their vehicle remotely and receive live information curated by the marque's luxury intelligence specialists. The front seat design of the Spectre is inspired by British tailoring, with lapel sections that can be rendered in contrasting or matching colours to the main base. Bespoke stitching, embroidery, and intricate piping were all considered during the design process.
