TVS Motors launches updated versions of Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 180

TVS Motors has launched a new updated version of its Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 in India. In the major changes made in both these bikes, the company has increased their power by reducing the weight of both the bikes. In this, the weight of Apache RTR 160 has been reduced by 2 kg and that of Apache RTR 180 by 1 kg.

Talking about the price, TVS Motors has priced the 2022 Apache RTR 180 at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the starting price of Apache RTR 160 is Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) which goes up to Rs 1.24 lakh in the top variant. .

In 2022 TVS Apache RTR 160, the company has installed a single cylinder engine of 159.7 cc. This engine generates power of 16.04 PS and peak torque of 13.85 Nm. TVS Motors has mated a 5-speed manual gearbox with this engine.

Two variants of 2022 TVS Apache RTR 160 are available for sale in the market in which the first is single disc brake and the second is dual disc brake variant. Talking about the reduced weight of the bike, the company has reduced the weight of this bike by 2 kg, after which its new weight has become 137 kg (single disc) to 138 kg (dual disc).

TVS Motors has provided digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, TVS Connect app, three riding modes (Sport, Urban and Rain) in both these sports bikes.

Apart from this, features like Voice Assist, changes in the setting and power delivery of ABS according to the riding mode, gear position indicator, new LED headlamps, LED tail lamps have been added.
