Puri Jagannadh's 'Liger,' starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, was a box office flop. According to recent reports, the film's distributors met with Puri to make amends for their losses.

Now, the director has filed a police complaint against distributors such as Warangal Sreenu and Shoban Babu, accusing them of blackmailing and threatening him. The distributors have also threatened to protest against his house if he does not settle the losses, according to the complaint.

Puri stated in the complaint that he paid all of his dues to distributor Warangal Sreenu but failed to pay the sub-distributors. According to the complaint, Srinu is also inciting other distributors to sue the director.

Puri Jagannadh also stated in the complaint that Sreenu will incite violence and enter his Hyderabad home to harass his family members, including his mother, wife, and children.

Vijay Deverakonda's Bollywood debut was one of the year's most anticipated films, but the film's box office performance shocked the film industry.
