Myntra all set to change its logo, but why?

Myntra is all set to change its logo sue to a complain filed by an activist last year in the month of December.She stated that the logo is offensive towards the women, hence is not acceptable.

In December 2020, a Mumbai based activist lodged a complaint with respect to the Myntra logo. She stated the logo to be disrespecting towards the women, hence declared it unacceptable.

One of the largest e - commerce website, Myntra is set on its journey for changing its logo after a complain was lodged by the Mumbai - based Activist.

Naaz Patel, the activist involved with the Avesta Foundation NGO filed a complain stating that the logo was offensive for thw women. She had filled the complain last year and since then, the investigation started.

DCP Rashmi Karandikar of Mumbai Police's Cyber Crime Department said, "We found that the logo was offensive in nature for women. Following the complaint, we sent an email to Myntra and their officials came and met us. The officials said they will change the logo in a month's time."

Myntra will soon change its logo. The new logowill soon be released on its website as well as it has been sent for printing on all of its products as well as its packaging.
