Benefits of sprouted Methi Seeds

In indian houses, Methi seeds are widely used in making foods or any other purpose. Generally, Methi seeds are prized for their nutritional value but it is slightly bitter in taste. but when we sprout the methi seeds, it is free from bitterness and very easy to digest. There are so many health benefits of sprouted methi seeds like, after germination, it becomes softer and easier to digest. It is the best antioxidants for good immunity. Doctors also said that it facilitaes slow release of glucose in the blood stream and it also prevents sudden increase in the blood sugar level. 

There sare simple method to sprout the methi seeds: firstly, wash the methi seeds atleast four to five times with plain water. Then leave it overnight in water. Then next day, drain the water and tie them in a cotton cloth. Next day open the cloth and wash the methi dana seeds and then again tie them in a cloth and hang them again. Repeat the process for five days till the seeds srout out with toiny green leaves. But it is important to wash them regularly. M ake sure that the methi seeds should be in air tight container so that we can use it as a different kinds of salads, chaats, etc.
