DELHI AIR QUALITY HAS BEEN RISING AND FALLING

Delhi‘s air quality has been falling and rising. the fog is still smog .as we start looking at it the air quality index(AQI) in Delhi on Thursday i.e 14 Jan was in the very poor zone at 301. the AQI on Wednesday went up to 283 in the poor zone and on Tuesday the 19th of Jan it went worse into the severe zone. winds will continue to blow at high speed on Thursday, allowing for the improvement in quality. Indian metrological department stated.

Also, a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from January 22, causing widespread rain and snow in those parts between January 22 and 24, and a resultant chill in Delhi and other cities in the plains, the IMD has said. Also, Delhi's minimum temperature settled at 7.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday and is likely to increase slightly over the next two days under the influence of a fresh Western Disturbance. The air quality index stood at 304 at 9 am.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.
