Jio True 5g launched in Rajasthan by Akash Ambani

On Saturday, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited chairman Akash Ambani launched 5G services in Rajasthan from Nathdwara, Rajsamand.

Mukesh Ambani visited Shrinathji Temple in 2015, prior to the debut of 4G services. In June of this year, Akash Ambani was appointed chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 5G services in India on October 2 in Delhi. Reliance Jio was the highest bidder in the 5G spectrum auction held earlier this year by the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), accounting for 58.65% of the total value.

Jio has purchased 25,036 MHz of spectrum in the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, 3300 MHz, and 26 GHz bands spanning 22 telecom circles for a total of Rs 87,947 crore over a 20-year term.
